Music a reflection of Society...

So today I was going through the billboard to Top 100 Music Hits, which shows the 100 hottest songs in the US currently, and it struck me whilst browsing, where is the love in Music?
Of the Top 10 songs, there is one love song - "Enrique Iglesias - Tonight". This may not even be counted cause it sounds more bout getting laid tonight that Love. So there I am scratching my head like Black Eyed Peas - "Where is the Love". Like seriously, where is the love?
Okay, so I believe that music is always a reflection of where society or the social conscience is. The artists are like the voice of what is current and real, and their lyrics and thoughts resonate with the audience because they are a reflection of each other.
All I see from the top 10 songs is heart ache, sex and deferentiating one's self so much so that it's cool to be a martian. I whilst on some levels, I resonate with each, I wonder, where are good values, the I will love you forever songs?
As much as I believe music reflects us, we have more individuals who start to reflect the music... which appears to perpetuate shallow interactions, broken heartedness and loving yourself but not others...
